The Internship Program has grown every year since 2010. This year we have a record breaking 41 interns from 14 universities and colleges nationwide. This is a 26% growth compared to 2012 and the program has more than doubled since 2011. In 2011, all internships were located in our headquarters; Watsonville, California. In 2013, 20% of all internships were outside of Watsonville, including areas of California; Bakersfield, Santa Maria, and Camarillo, and outside of California; Hendersonville, North Carolina, Dover, Florida, and Olathe, Kansas. In 2013, interns comprised of 47% female and 45% are from diverse backgrounds.
The Internship Program will begin recruiting for 2014 interns at PMA Fresh Summit in New Orleans in October, 2013. Recruitment will take place on campuses nationally January-February 2014. Check out the homepage for a list of campuses Driscoll's will be on.
