Is it a paid internship?
  • Our internships are all paid. Pay rates are decided based on an educational obtainment scale.
  • Driscoll's also offers relocation stipends for interns.

How long are the internships?
  • All internships are either in spring (March/April) or summer (May/June).
  • All internships range from 12 to 24 weeks, depending on department.

Where are the internship positions located?
  • Most internships are based in our Watsonville, CA Headquarters. 
  • We also have internships in the following locations:
    • Bakersfield, California
    • Oxnard, California
    • Red Bluff, California
    • Santa Maria, California
    • Dover, Florida
    • Hendersonville, North Carolina
    • Olathe, Kansas

What's the Internship Program like?
  • During the summer, we conduct intern workshops that focus on professional development. 
  • Some topics we cover are: business etiquette, common business practices and terminology, Excel skills, resume tips, best interview practices, and professional goal setting. 
  • We also have intern events where we focus on learning the business, networking, and team building. 

Can internships turn into regular full time jobs?
  • YES!
  • Driscoll's uses the Internship Program as a pipeline for talent within the company.
  • The purpose of the Internship Program is to attract and hire future talent to retain and grow within the company.
  • Driscoll's has a strong preference for hiring internally.
  • As an intern, you have established connections within the company and would have a leg up against the competition.
  • Think of an internship as a 3 to 6 month job interview.

 
How can I become a Driscoll's intern?
 
You can apply to be in the Internship Program if:
  • You are currently attending an accredited 2 year or 4 year university in an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program or no more than 6 months post-graduation AND
  • Are eligible to work in the United States.
